Worsley Urban wants worsley.ca to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the standard referenced by Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings and page structure so screen readers can navigate them.
- Text and controls are designed for strong contrast against their backgrounds.
- The site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- The enquiry form labels every field and explains any error in words.
- The Accessibility button at the foot of every page offers larger text, underlined links and a switch to stop animations. These settings are remembered in your browser.
Known limitations
The interactive 3D tour of our projects relies on a graphics-capable browser and pointer or touch input, and may not be usable with some assistive technologies. The same projects are described in text on the home page under Selected Experience.
Tell us about a problem
